Making Weight Watchers breakfast recipes that have zero points is a smart and healthy way to start the day. There’s never a bad time to get back on track with your WW program.

These zero point breakfast recipes can help you prep, plan, and keep your points in check!

Which points plan are these recipes calculated for?

All of these recipes and ideas are calculated for the Weight Watchers Green/Blue/Purple program as well as the new 2023 points plan. I know from time to time WW updates their programs and it can be confusing to know which recipes and roundups you find are up to date and which ones are not.

Can I make an entire zero point meal plan?

No, and I’ll explain why eating only zero point meals is not a good idea. The Weight Watchers program is designed to work within a healthy range. Your daily healthy range will be determined on the app but it’s usually between -5 and +10 of your daily recommended points.

The program teaches you how to make smart and healthy choices about portion control, processed versus whole foods, and more. It’s important to keep in mind that your body needs more than just the zero points foods that you’ll find on the food list.

Eating well and seeing results on the WW program is possible but you won’t continue to see the results you desire if you are only eating zero point foods. You will also likely start to get bored of them, lose energy, and be more likely to quit.

Use these zero point breakfast recipes to help you on days when you know you’ll need more points in the afternoon, times when your weekly points are running low, or spice them up with foods that have points when you can!

Zero point recipes, meals, and foods should be incorporated into your healthy meal plan, they shouldn’t take over.

Weight Watchers Zero Point Breakfast Recipes

Let’s take a look at some of my favorite Weight Watchers breakfast recipes. These are all 0 points recipes that you can use to start your day off right!

If you are not on the Weight Watches or WW program you don’t need to worry about the points, all you really need to know is that you are eating a healthy and nutritious meal!

Why are zero point recipes a good way to start the day?

Starting your Weight Watchers day off with a zero point breakfast is a great idea because it leaves you all of your points for the rest of the day. You never know where your day is going to take you, right?

What if you get asked out for dinner later but you’ve already used a good chunk of your WW points for the day? Weekly points running low? Bummer. Now you have to be boxed in on your choices for dinner.

When you begin the day with a low or no points breakfast you leave yourself plenty of wiggle room for the rest of the meals and snacks throughout the day.

Another reason I really like to start the day with zero point breakfast recipes is the fact that they make me feel good! I’m encouraged when I have a delicious meal to start my day that doesn’t cost me any of my daily or weekly points.

Starting the day off full, satisfied, and feeling great about my healthy meal plan helps me make good choices throughout the rest of the day as well!

Don’t have time for a full blown breakfast recipe?

If you don’t have time for a full blown breakfast recipe you can use these zero point breakfast foods to get you started on the right foot for the day!

  • Bananas
  • Eggs (in any form but also hard boiled eggs travel well)
  • Apples
  • Raw veggies
  • Plain fat free greek yogurt
  • Berries
  • Thin sliced deli chicken or turkey breast
  • Lettuce wraps with ground chicken breast or the homemade turkey patties I make

Weight Watchers Zero Point Lunch and Dinner Recipes

Here’s something you need to remember before you go loading up your meal plan with completely free Weight Watchers recipes. It’s important that zero point food and zero point recipes for Weight Watchers should be used in combination with foods that contain points.

Eating zero point foods and recipes on is great in addition to eating healthy fats, protein, carbs, and veggies. You might think that the less points you eat the better, but your body and the program are designed to work within your healthy points range.

You can find your healthy points range on the WW app or online. This range is designed to help you lose weight in a consistent pace so you can be successful and keep that weight off. Often, a quick weight loss will result in gaining that weight back at some point – slow and steady is how you want your weight loss for long term results.

Whether you’re new to Weight Watchers with this new program for 2023, started with the myWW Personal Points purple plan, blue plan, or green plan, or have been using the program since the Smart Point and Weight Watchers Freestyle program days, these recipes will be easy to fit into your meal plan.

WW Zero Point Lunch Recipes

Lunch is one of those meals on Weight Watchers that can go either way for me. I need to have great recipes on hand to keep my points low or I’ll go off the rails and raid the fridge without thinking.

One of the reasons I love WW zero point recipes for lunch is because then I can save some points for a splurge at dinner time. It’s also nice to have zero point lunches on hand for those days when French toast is calling my name for breakfast and I can’t resist.

Weight Watchers is such a flexible program. I often make healthier choices when I have options, and I love the portion control. You won’t see results just eating your body weight in free foods…learning to make smart portion choices is important.

Use these zero point lunch recipes to keep yourself on track throughout the day–simply click the link for the full recipe:

  • Weight Watchers Salsa | I use this salsa to top salads, dip fresh veggies, and more. It’s so easy to make and it’s flavorful without being overly spicy.
  • Healthy Egg Salad Recipe | Making WW egg salad in the Instant Pot is so easy and simple. There’s no peeling your hard-boiled eggs – and they all have a nice even texture.
  • Instant Pot Cauliflower Salad | My cauliflower salad makes use of the Instant Pot as well. It’s simple, delicious, and a nice option for those days when I need a nice low point lunch.
  • Crock Pot Chicken Fajitas Feel free to add extra veggies to this one and keep it a zero point recipe. I love adding mushrooms and zucchini to the bell pepper and onion in this recipe.
  • Turkey Lettuce Wraps These are so easy and flavorful!
  • Air Fryer Ranch Turkey Burgers These are easy and delicious – skip the cheese and they’re a zero point recipe! I love crumbling these burgers over a salad for lunch.
  • This Buffalo Chicken Dip is one of my favorite zero point lunch recipes because it’s so easy. Add it to lettuce for Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps, serve it as a side to a plate of veggies, or add it to the top of a salad for a filling meal.

Zero Point Weight Watchers Dinner Recipes

When dinner time rolls around, my points run low if I haven’t meal planned my day. That is when these zero point dinner recipes come in really handy.

Weight Watchers is a great program and it has helped me establish a healthy eating pattern. I’ve learned that when the end of the day rolls around if I have been irresponsible with my points for the day (eating a lot of meals and snacks with a lot of points) I have to find foods with low points for dinner.

When it comes to weight loss it’s not all about fat free foods and zero point Weight Watchers recipes. It’s about finding reasonable point meals that I can enjoy when I haven’t been making the best choices all day long.

  • Weight Watchers Egg Roll In A Bowl Recipe This is one of my favorite zero point dinner recipes. It takes chicken breasts and makes them into something EVERYONE will love.
  • Apricot Chicken This sheet pan dinner is a zero point meal. You can use whatever veggies are in season and it couldn’t be easier to throw together after a long, hectic day! I also love making this with peaches.
  • Homemade Rotisserie Chicken Cooked Five Ways This post has FIVE different ways to cook a rotisserie chicken. It’s a great resource for those times when you are feeling sick of chicken and need a way to spice things up. You can also make homemade chicken broth after.
  • Chicken Gyro Bowl with Homemade Tzatziki  Gyro bowls are one of my husbands favorite dinners. It’s nice to know that I can have zero point dinner recipes that the whole family will actually enjoy. Make these with skinless chicken breast and fat free Greek yogurt to make this recipe zero Weight Watchers points.
  •  Green Chili Chicken I love serving this on top of a salad. It’s also delicious rolled up in lettuce or on a tortilla as a taco.
  • Stuffed Pepper Soup is one of my favorite dinners to meal prep for the week! It’s filling and the best part is that it tastes just as good a few days later.
  • Instant Pot Burrito Bowls I love that this recipe uses frozen chicken, dry rice, and dry black beans – talk about an easy weeknight dinner! Use fat free yogurt instead of sour cream as a topping! Can be made in any pressure cooker.

I’ve pulled together my favorite Instant Pot meal prep recipes for Weight Watchers for you. These are hearty recipes that keep for a week in the fridge, or can easily be frozen and reheated.

Weight Watchers Meal Prep Recipes

All of the recipes I’m including in the list below are calculated with the online recipe creator. I use this to get my info and on occasion I chat with their online representatives to get a clear idea of how to count my recipes.

That being said, if you have questions you should always re-calculate the recipes using the ingredients in your kitchen. We are all in charge of our own health and well being after all; do what is best for you and your WW journey.

Weight Watchers has always been a tough one to write meal plans for since the daily points and weeklies can vary so much. That being said, I decided that the best way to help you plan is to give you recipe ideas and walk you through how I plan for myself.

WW Blue Plan Meal Prep: Take your daily target and choose foods below that fit within those numbers. You also have a free food list of about 200 foods to fill in the gaps here. This program is more like the freestyle program!

WW Purple Plan Meal Prep: Choose the recipes below based on your daily points allowance. You have over 300 free foods to choose from, including lean proteins like grilled chicken breast, as well!

WW Green Plan Meal Prep: Green plan has the smallest free foods list, about 100 items. You also get more daily points than the other plans, so don’t worry–it all works out!

close up of instant pot with veggies off to the left

When should I meal prep with the Instant Pot for Weight Watchers?

If I don’t do everything at once I’m not going to be truly prepped for the week. I try to prep on my last day off before a work week.

If push comes to shove and I don’t have time to do a ton of meal prepping this is where I start: hard boiled eggs, chicken, and sweet potatoes. When those are in the Instant Pot or on the stove, I cut up raw vegetables and fruit and portion them out accordingly.

Basics: Pick a couple of these basic foods to prep for week

This post is full of easy pressure cooker recipes, and some of them also have slow cooker instructions. I love being able to pressure cook and slow cook at the same time–I get so much done on prep day.

These easy weeknight meals are perfect for those nights when you need to get something on the table in 30 minutes or less. Quick dinner recipes definitely make our healthy lifestyle goals much more manageable!

When it comes time to get dinner on the table, meal prep and quick dinner recipes help. Lunch and breakfast are meals that we can usually throw something together if necessary, but for dinner the options get a little more limited.

These easy dinners keep well in the refrigerator throughout the week (hooray for meal prep recipes) but they’re also easy to throw together before meal time. Each of these meals can be on the table in 30 minutes or less!

Are these easy weeknight meals family friendly?

I used to get so frustrated. Just because I’m doing a healthy lifestyle program like Weight Watchers or 21 Day Fix, does not mean that my family is following that same plan. Some of the recipes are too restrictive, not their taste, not kid friendly, etc.

All of these recipes are sure to wow both you and your family. They won’t know that they are eating something healthy and you won’t have to feel bad about only making one meal for the whole family to eat!

How can I meal prep with these 30 minute meals?

If you have some time you can prep one or two of these meals one day a week. That means you will have some great meals on hand that you can just pull out and heat up. Quick dinner recipes are nice but nothing beats being able to throw something in the microwave and put it on the table in minutes.

If you have older kids in the house like we do, having some healthy dinner options on hand for weeknight meals is a must. It means they can heat something up for themselves and you don’t have to worry about everyones schedule lining up perfectly for mealtime.

Here are some of my favorite meal prep tips & tricks:

This is a four part course that I set up originally on Facebook. It will literally walk you through from start to finish for how to meal prep and plan. If you have never prepped or done a meal plan before this is where you should start!

Can I freeze these easy weeknight meals?

I love to freeze meals ahead of time so I can pull them out, thaw them in the refrigerator or on the stove and have even easier weeknight meals to serve the whole family. Most of these healthy meals listed above can be frozen and served up at a later time. You can make a double batch when you are cooking to set some aside for later as well!

Here are my best tips for freezer meal prep, they will come in handy if you have never done any freezer meal planning before! Most of the recipes on this post are about 30 minutes or less but I know, sometimes you are lucky if you have 20 minutes. Use the tips and tricks in the freezer meal prep post to plan ahead!

Weight Watchers Mexican recipes are delicious and easy to make. These are some of my favorite Mexican recipes with their Freestyle Smart Points included.

There’s a lot of amazing recipes out there to explore. Admittedly some of my favorite recipes are Mexican favorites that I recreate to the best of my abilities with some minor adaptations to make them suitable for Weight Watchers.

What makes these recipes Weight Watchers approved?

The great thing about Weight Watchers is that there’s pretty much nothing that is off limits in terms of ingredients. Every ingredient has a point value and a serving size. It’s up to use to track everything that we eat so that the program can do its job!

Are these recipes for the Freestyle Smart Points program?

Yes! All of these recipes have been calculated for the Freestyle Smart Points version of the Weight Watchers program. Over the years there have been a few different versions of the program so it’s important when we are tracking our points to know which version they correspond with.

How do I lower the Points in these recipes?

If you want to try and lower the points in any of these recipes I’d offer a few suggestions:

  • Substitute the protein for a zero point option like chicken breast!
  • Choose a lower fat % for dairy products like yogurt, milk, cheeses, etc.
  • Lower the amount of processed sauces by thinning them out with water or substitute them entirely for homemade alternative. Example, this homemade red enchilada sauce
  • Use whole fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.

Every recipe is going to be different and call for different ingredients. These are just some general tips to help if you are looking for ways to reduce the points in any recipe.

Weight Watchers Mexican recipes are delicious and easy to make. These are some of my favorite Mexican recipes with their Freestyle Smart Points included.

Weight Watchers Mexican Recipes

Southwest Egg Roll in a Bowl | 3 Freestyle Smart Points | Though this recipe is not specifically Mexican it is inspired but the Southwest and the flavors that are a staple here! A quick and easy dinner recipe or prep some for lunches throughout the week.

Carne Asada Tostadas | 9 Freestyle Smart Points | Carne Asada Tostadas are a family favorite here. We love making them and letting everyone top them with their ideal flavors.

Crockpot Pork Carnitas | 3 Freestyle Smart Points | Weight Watchers recipes like this one make it all worthwhile. These delicious pork carnitas are amazing. With just 3 Weight Watchers points per serving you can enjoy these without sacrificing any weekly points!

Carne Asada Burrito Bowls | 7 Freestyle Smart Points | The chili lime dressing on these burrito bowls is amazing. I’d almost be willing to eat it on it’s own, it’s that good. These burrito bowls make a great recipe for lunches too! Everyone can build their own with the perfect amount of black beans, tomatoes, or even homemade salsa

Instant Pot Quinoa Tacos | 3 Freestyle Smart Points | These vegan tacos are amazing. I love to top them with some tomatoes salsa made at home (or store bought if I’m in a hurry). They are great for a meatless Monday or for your Vegan Meal Plan

Street Tacos | 6 Freestyle Smart Points | Street tacos are another recipe that utilizes my favorite Carne Asada recipe. Street tacos make a great quick dinner for the whole family.

Instant Pot Taco Soup | 5 Freestyle Smart Points | Have you used your Instant Pot to whip up any delicious Mexican dinner recipes? If not, give this delicious taco soup recipe a try tonight.

Instant Pot Salsa Chicken | 3 Freestyle Smart Points | Chicken in the Instant Pot is so quick and easy that it is just begging to be part of your next meal plan. This salsa chicken is juicy, flavorful, and packs a little spicy punch!

Chicken Fajita Lettuce Wraps | 7 Freestyle Smart Points | Fajitas are a staple in our home. Everyone loves them! We make them with steak, veggies for breakfast, and even chicken! This version uses lettuce wraps to lower the points without decreasing the flavor profile.

Weight Watchers Mexican recipes are delicious and easy to make. These are some of my favorite Mexican recipes with their Freestyle Smart Points included.

Healthy Enchilada Recipe | 7 Freestyle Smart Points | Is there anything better than a fresh pan of enchiladas?! This healthy version is amazing, perfect for dinner with leftovers for lunch, and you can customize them to your liking!

Hamburger Helper with Green Chilies | 5 Freestyle Smart Points | This is a typical hamburger helper recipe with a nice little chilies kick! It’s so delicious and easy to make and I swear it only gets better after a day in the fridge (hooray for leftovers)!

Chorizo and Eggs Casserole | 1 Freestyle Smart Point | Starting off the day with a warm and delicious breakfast can make all the difference! At just 1 Freestyle Smart Point per serving you can’t beat this breakfast casserole recipe.

My love for the Instant Pot is no secret. What you might not know is that these Weight Watchers Instant Pot recipes with freestyle points are an easy way to eat healthy, stay on track with your plan, and get dinner on the table quickly.

If you meal prep, these recipes are a great choice! Using the Instant Pot to make Weight Watchers Freestyle recipes means everything is delicious, fast, and easy.

These are my favorite WW Instant Pot recipes, and they all include the calculations for the Freestyle program.

These Instant Pot Weight Watchers Freestyle recipes are an easy way to eat healthy, stay on track with your plan, and get a family-friendly dinner on the table quickly. Weight Watchers Instant Pot Recipes | WW Instant Pot #WW #weightwatchers #instantpot

Weight Watchers Instant Pot Recipes

All of these recipes have two things in common–they’re made in the Instant Pot and they are calculated for the Weight Watchers Freestyle program.

You’ll need an Instant Pot or a comparable pressure cooker to make these. Some of the recipes included have directions for other cooking options like the Crockpot or stove top!

If you are looking for some troubleshooting options for any recipes made in the Instant Pot check these out:

What is Weight Watchers Freestyle Program?

The Weight Watchers Freestyle program is the newest version of the Smart Points program. All of these recipes have the points calculated for you but I recommend you calculate for yourself if you change any ingredients.

Different brands have different Freestyle points values, so if you want to be completely sure of your points it’s always smart to plug them in for yourself!

I love using the Weight Watchers app and the online recipe calculator to make sure that everything I’m eating gets calculated properly. Hopefully these Instant Pot Weight Watchers Freestyle recipes are just the beginning of some delicious family friendly meals.

Instant Pot Weight Watchers Freestyle Recipes

Instant Pot Mini Frittatas | 4 Points | These are delicious for breakfast or a quick on plan snack! I love changing up the ingredients for each batch. You can freeze these frittatas–just do it individually so they don’t stick together, then pop them in the microwave to defrost!

This Weight Watchers breakfast recipe is delicious and easy! Thanks to this Instant Pot breakfast recipe I can have a Weight Watchers frittata hot and fresh every morning. #weightwatchers #recipes #instantpot

Starbucks Copycat Sous Vide Egg Bites | 3 Points | These are so popular right now! This recipe is so easy to adapt, but if you need some other ideas for “toppings” or are looking for a specific recipe, you might want to check out my Red Pepper Egg Bites, Egg White Bites, or Dairy Free Egg Bites

These Weight Watchers egg bites are a spinoff of the Starbucks Sous Vide egg bites. This is a much healthier and more affordable option that you can make at home. #weightwatchers #recipes #freestyle

Tuscan Chicken Pasta | 7 Points | This recipe is so delicious, and doesn’t taste like anything healthy! The cottage cheese and greek yogurt lowers your points (and allows you to eat a bigger serving), but they’re blended together with spices so you don’t taste the greek yogurt or even get the texture of the cottage cheese–the key to this recipe is the blender!

This Weight Watchers Tuscan Chicken Pasta is a delicious and easy weeknight meal! Weight Watchers Crockpot recipes are healthy and yummy! Weight Watchers instant Pot Recipes | Weight Watchers Dinner Recipe | Weight Watchers Freestyle Recipes #ww #weightwatchers #freestyle

Buffalo Chicken Bites | 3 Points | One of my favorite flavors is buffalo chicken! These buffalo chicken bites will satisfy your craving for hot wings–without the calories and fat!

Crack Chicken | 5 Points | It’s here–healthy Crack Chicken! This creamy dip can be used in a sandwich, as a dip, or as a salad topper! It’s one of my most popular recipes and has all of the traditional flavors of Crack Chicken–bacon, ranch, and cheese!

If you like Crack Chicken, you might be interested in my Dairy Free Crack Chicken, Crack Chicken Noodle Soup, Crack Chicken and Rice Casserole, and Crack Chicken Pasta Salad–all healthy!

Beef Stroganoff | 10 Points | Just like the one you remember from your childhood, this creamy and delicious Instant Pot dinner is hearty and comforting–but allows you to stay on plan!

If you are on the Weight Watchers Freestyle SmartPoints system you have to check out this delicious recipe. These WW friendly Instant Pot cupcakes are quick, easy, and delicious. Not to mention they're just 8 SmartPoints per serving.

Sweet Potato Chili | 1 Point | This chili is healthy, hearty, and only one freestyle smart point per serving! It’s spicy too, so many sure to adjust the spices a little if you prefer mild chili recipes.

This 21 Day Fix Chili recipe collection is full of great meal prep recipes! Instant Pot Chili Recipes | 21 Day Fix Chili Recipes | Crockpot Chili Recipes | Healthy Chili Recipes

Instant Pot Lasagna | 5 Points | This is one of my very favorite recipes to make in the Instant Pot! It’s a delicious lasagna–a healthier version, of course. All of your favorite traditional flavors of lasagna, and each serving is only 5 WW points.

Burrito Bowls | 3 Points | You can’t get much easier than combining dry rice, frozen chicken breasts, and dry beans into your Instant Pot for dinner. This recipe makes a ton and is a great meal prep, and you can customize each bowl with your favorite toppings!

This Weight Watchers Instant Pot burrito bowl is delicious and makes a ton of food! It's perfect for Weight Watchers meal prep and easy to customize with your favorite toppings! Stuffed Pepper Soup | 2 Points | Hearty and filling, this WW Stuffed Pepper Soup is a family favorite! It’s easy to prepare and delicious with homemade cornbread

Light stuffed pepper soup is a quick and easy recipe that is perfect for fall. It's perfect for making in the crockpot or the Instant Pot.

Beef Gyros | 10 Points | A little more points than an everyday dinner, but this is so worth it. I love adding the gyros to a salad too!

These Instant Pot Beef Gyros are a quick meal filled with clean ingredients and veggies–and they're 21 Day Fix friendly! | 21 Day Fix Instant Pot Beef Gyros

There's nothing better than throwing everything into the slow cooker and walking away to finish up your other daily tasks! #weightwatchers #recipes #freestyle #smartpoints

Before you know it everything is ready to go; these Weight Watchers Crockpot recipes have the added bonus of being adapted to the newest calculations, Freestyle Smart Points. There’s no guess work so you’ll know exactly what you need to track for your daily and weekly Weight Watchers Freestyle Smart Points.

The Weight Watchers program is unique in that it doesn’t cut out any foods. Instead of cutting out foods, those things that we probably should avoid have a very high point value. If you want to eat those kinds of foods they are very limited because we only have a certain amount of daily and weekly points to “spend” on foods and drinks.

If you are new to the program these Weight Watchers Crockpot recipes with Freestyle points are excellent for no stress meals. You can whip up a any of these recipes and have leftovers for several days. I love using the Crockpot for meal prep and meal planning. It helps me keep from eating unplanned meals (they tend to be the most high in points). If I plan ahead, I know I’ll have lower points options ready to go!

Weight Watchers Crockpot Recipes with Freestyle Points

Hopefully these Weight Watchers Crockpot recipes with Freestyle points can help you both kickstart and maintain a healthy lifestyle! Combining the ease of the Crockpot with the smart tracking abilities on the new Weight Watchers program, you can’t go wrong!
