Weight Watchers Steak Fajita Zoodles
Ingredients needed for Weight Watchers fajitas:
With just a few simple, whole food ingredients we are going to make a culinary masterpiece…okay maybe that’s a little dramatic but these steak fajita zoodles for Weight Watchers are incredible. They are one of my favorite recipes and we make them often!
- Steak (we use loin flap from Costco) or skirt steak you could probably use flank steak or any kind of steak that you prefer!
- Teriyaki coconut aminos
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Diced pineapple
- Montreal Steak Seasoning
This is how we make Weight Watchers Steak Fajitas:
Before you can do anything else you need to marinate the steak in Worcestershire and teriyaki marinade! Then you’ll need to follow these instructions:
- Spiralize the zucchini (with the skin on) and 1 of the onions (with the skin off)
- Sauté spiraled veggies for 8-10 minutes on med-high, drizzled with olive oil and fresh garlic
- Slice onions and peppers, as well as the mushrooms. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with Montreal Steak seasoning
- Grill veggies (we use a grill basket with some cooking spray if needed) and steak for a few minutes per side until done to your liking.
- Cut steak into thin slices after you’ve grilled the steak.
- Use your Zoodles as a base for your fajitas or add them in to your tortilla and add the steak with the other fajita ingredients if you’d like!
Do you have the Weight Watchers points calculated for these fajitas?
Yes, I do have the points calculated for this Weight Watchers Freestyle recipe. You know I love to use the WW app to determine the points on all of my Weight Watchers recipes. For this one, I used the recipe creator, plugged in all of my ingredients, added the servings and boom! It’s just 6 Freestyle Smart Points for 1 serving of this recipe.
The great news is that you can have as many veggies as you’d like for those 6 points too! This recipe is awesome for those nights when you are feeling famished but you don’t have a ton of points left. You can load up on veggies, top it with your portion of fajita steak, and you have a filling, veggie centric meal to keep you satisfied the rest of the evening.
How can I switch up the flavors on these steak fajitas?
If you are looking for some ways to punch up the flavors or just switch it up a bit for something new, I’ve got some suggestions you will love!
Here are some other seasonings, toppings, and flavors you can add or incorporate that I think would be awesome:
- Chili powder
- Lime juice
- Sour cream (use the fat free kind for a low point topping choice)
- Cilantro
You can even make a lighter version of these Weight Watchers fajitas! Use chicken breasts to make chicken fajitas for Weight Watchers Freestyle! They still go great with the zoodles, bell peppers, onions, and seasoning but they have much lower points. If you are in a jam or just want to meal prep something that is super low in points chicken is a great option/substitution!
My zoodles are wet, is that normal?
It’s important not to overcook zoodles. They can become mushy and too wet if you add too much salt as well! You can place them on a paper towel for a few minutes after they’re cut before you cook them. That will help draw out some of the moisture.
Another tip is to make sure you don’t cook the steak and put it over all the zoodles. Let them separate and then add them together when you are ready to eat the final dish. This will help keep your zoodles from being soggy or wet as well.

The steak fajitas zoodles sounds delicious, but it’s getting too cold to grill already. Can the steak and zoodles be fried or baked?
I’ve never fried these but I’d definitely saute them if I couldn’t grill!
